By accessing and using our School Management Portal software (“the Portal”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the Portal.

2. User Access

Access to the Portal is restricted to authorized users within subscribing educational institutions. Users must:

• Maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials
• Not share access with unauthorized users
• Log out after each session
• Report security concerns to their institution’s administrator or our support team

3. Acceptable Use

Users agree to:

• Use the portal for its intended educational and administrative purposes only
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures
• Not upload malicious software or content
• Respect the privacy and rights of other users
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Data and Privacy

Our Portal utilizes Supabase for data storage and OAuth for authentication. Users acknowledge that:

• Personal information will be collected and stored as outlined in our Privacy Policy
• Data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws
• Users are responsible for the accuracy of information they input
• We maintain audit logs of Portal usage for security and compliance purposes

5. Intellectual Property

All content within the Portal, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Schoolyst or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws. Educational institutions are granted a limited license to use the Portal during their subscription period.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to maintain 99.9% Portal availability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Schoolyst is not liable for any damages arising from:

• Portal downtime or technical issues
• Loss of data
• Unauthorized access to user accounts
• Errors in stored information

7. Modifications

Schoolyst reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Subscribers will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Portal constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

8. Termination

Schoolyst reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the Portal for violations of these terms, non-payment, or any other reason deemed appropriate by our management team. Subscribing institutions may terminate their subscription according to their service agreement.
